"A large amount of it was strike or skip with the label. I was like, ‘Alright, well y’all have your minor tune then.’ They seriously tried using to maintain it for them selves but when the label read it, they were like, ‘The ladies have to have to get on there.’ I was like, ‘Nope, they can have their music. It was also the starting of artists being able to take in without a label. So it was tough in the starting.
