It stars Dieter Laser as Josef Heiter, the creator of the centipede and Ashley C. Williams, Ashlynn Yennie, and Akihiro Kitamura as his victims. Kranz finds the ward along with Heiter's victims. Upon returning to Heiter's dwelling, the detectives forcefully perform independent searches as Heiter, injured, hides in close proximity to his swimming pool.
