Jungle exotica was a Hollywood generation, with its roots in Tarzan videos (and additional back to William Henry Hudson's novel Green Mansions). When American servicemen returned household soon after the conclusion of World War II in 1945, they introduced with them tales and souvenirs from their time in the South Pacific that assisted to fortify the level of popularity of what Hollywood experienced set the stage for Donn Beach to make.
