In the nineteen seventies, Lackowski was stationed in San Diego, where he settled for the subsequent chapter of his lifetime. Lackowski will be buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Hawaii with entire armed forces honors as soon as group restrictions are lifted. He was also a volunteer ranger at Alaska’s Glacier Bay National Park numerous summers, kayaking from island to island to test on inhabitants.
