Featuring the variety of "uncomfortable comedy" that both tends to make you giggle or drives you entirely insane, "The Comeback" is considerably strike-and-overlook, but Kudrow is pitch-fantastic as the fallen star, a lady so tragically humiliating that it’s frequently hard to endure.
