Patrick Naugle of DVD Verdict stated, "The acting in Zaat is underneath subpar. Actors feel to be whispering their traces and trying really hard not to fully understand that they're in one of the worst films at any time produced", although Michael Rubino of DVD Verdict also claimed, "Zaat could be 1 of the worst movies ever produced".
