In a single episode, a hologram meets B'Elanna and notes that inspite of being 50 percent-Klingon, she just isn't violent, and he often assumed Klingons were being violent. She tells him that the perception that Klingons are violent is a stereotype. There are under no circumstances any people in civilian clothes strolling in the corridors (except they're coming straight from the holodeck) like you would in some cases see in TNG.
