A regulation criminalising revenge porn in Malta entered into force in November 2016. Article 208E of the Maltese Criminal Code punishes whoever, with an intent to trigger distress, emotional damage or damage of any mother nature, discloses a non-public sexual photograph or film without having the consent of the particular person or folks shown or depicted in these kinds of photograph or movie.
