Bullshit careers are not just employment that are worthless or pernicious commonly, there has to be some diploma of pretense and fraud included as well. There has to be some kind of hole concerning pretense and reality. I suspect there are several reasons, but just one is that the Mafia strike person (in contrast to, say, a overseas forex speculator or a model advertising and marketing researcher) is not likely to make phony promises.
