There are at least three popular analogous predicaments: one Nominees for the Academy awards--these are a select number of movies, not any film any member happens to nominate--they're fundamentally finalists, not the simple meaning of nominees. Thus, though they are not widespread, there are more films than there used to be that doc dying and death.
