Joey eventually decides he desires to split up with her, but problems about how hard she will hit him if she is basically upset, Rachel provides him a way out when she kicks Katie's ankle in retaliation for a person of Katie's punches, and when Joey refuses to stick up for Katie, she breaks up with him and leaves.
