The First Satanic Church, established by Anton LaVey's daughter Karla LaVey, is an offshoot of the Church of Satan. LaVey's statements to have served the same role on the set of "Rosemary's Baby" and to have portrayed Satan in a key scene are challenging to affirm and may perhaps have been the products of his talent for self-promotion.
