The consequence of all this very assorted working experience would make it obvious that it is not feasible to characterize the totality of the diaconal ministry by delineating jobs which belong solely to deacons because of ecclesial custom-which is much from distinct-or via a rigid distribution of jobs among the diverse ministers.
