This is nice due to the fact the Rhythmbox person interface is considerably nicer than that of XMMS. XMMS is even now a little bit far better at participating in (shorter pauses concerning tunes, and fewer impacted by brief load peaks), but the difference is smaller sufficient that it doesn't make a difference to me.
