Zappa famous that just one leg healed "shorter than the other" (a reference afterwards observed in the lyrics of tracks "Zomby Woof" and "Dancin' Fool"), resulting in persistent back discomfort. Upon return to the phase in September 1972, Zappa was nevertheless donning a leg brace, had a noticeable limp and could not stand for quite extended whilst on phase. Zappa and Cohen then designed DiscReet Records, also dispersed by Warner.
