In June 2020, Jeremy was billed with four counts of rape and sexual assault by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. He gained accolades from the Golden Schmoes Awards and MTV Movie & Tv Awards for this purpose whilst Keener acquired awards from the Boston Society of Film Critics and Los Angeles Film Critics Association.
