With films shot on movie and videotape giving way to electronic, the Best Films and Best Videos categories were being eventually combined into Best Movie, and so in 2005, Adam Film World Guide Directory stopped naming the previous year's best a few movies, thereafter just reprinting the full record of AFWG specific awards.
