The river upon reaching the plains starts to widen out right until it reaches Rajahmundry. Within Ahmednagar District the river rapidly completes its quick course, flowing along with the city of Kopargaon and reaching Puntamba. The river exits the Niphad Taluka of Nashik and enters the Kopargaon taluka, Ahmednagar District.
