During the first ten years of movement shots, the demand for films, the volume of new productions, and the regular runtime of flicks, all kept increasing, and at some stage it was feasible to have theatres that would no lengthier plan stay functions, but only motion pictures. Émile Reynaud screened his Pantomimes Lumineuses animated flicks from 28 October 1892 to March 1900 at the Musée Grévin in Paris, with his Théâtre Optique process.
