Despite his grumpy mindset towards Se-ri, he finally grows to care about her. Forced to facilitate Ri Mu-hyeok's death regardless of staying the receiver of his kindness, Man-bok hopes to atone for his betrayal by assisting Jeong-hyeok. Like her partner, she however grieves Mu-hyeok's dying. She grieves over his loss of life and decides to avenge Seung-jun and catch the culprits.
