In 2004, in an article for New York journal, Wolf accused literary scholar Harold Bloom of a "sexual encroachment" in late Fall 1983 for touching her inner thigh. Sexual encroachment in an educational context or a workplace is, most severely, a corruption of meritocracy it is in this sense parallel to bribery.
