It was subsequent applied by the Office of Admission. Lambda Chi Alpha existed at Hamilton right until 1958, when the area chapter, Gamma Eta Zeta, remaining the countrywide firm in a dispute in excess of the admission of a black member. Gamma Eta Zeta grew to become an impartial fraternity called Gryphon, which remained in existence for more than twenty yrs.
