On September 28, 2007, Italian politician Franco Grillini elevated a parliamentary issue with the minister of cultural sources and functions about the necessity of independence of panorama. He reported that the lack of these types of independence pressured Wikipedia, "the seventh most consulted internet site", to forbid all photos of modern-day Italian structures and artwork, and claimed this was massively harmful to tourist revenues.
