Offered with 98- and 122-cid engines by 1973, then 122- and 140-cid fours, it was progressively dressed-up and civilized with nicer trim and additional usefulness solutions. Engines were familiar -- initially the 140-cid Pinto 4, 200-cid 6, and 302-cid V-8 -- but there was a new all-coil suspension with modified MacPherson-strut entrance stop geometry, which mounted the coil springs on lower A-arms.
