Yeah. The feeling "why did they just display us a scene of another person acquiring espresso" was fairly strong, but it did enable try to remember the coffee/sandwich female character for when it turned out that, with out her know-how, she was essentially the mother of the man or woman who will sooner or later find a vaccine for demons.
