Addiction tried to kill me for 20 years. I saved myself. My art is a reflection of the horror and pain of learning to live again. This is my first and final journey through it.
My story is one of incredible resilience and determination. Born and raised in a small town in northern Canada, I struggled with alcohol addiction for decades. My addiction had taken a toll on my personal and professional life, causing me to lose my job and my family.
