The "modest-town yokel moves to the big town" narrative isn't really really a very good in shape for Sandler's abrasive rageaholic schtick, but it was a wise preference to pair him with Winona Ryder as the like fascination and stack the rest of the cast with enjoyable performances from Peter Gallagher as the villain, Steve Buscemi as Crazy Eyes, and, in his 1st Sandler-verse physical appearance, John Turturro as a extremely, really sneaky butler.
