Stolas typically would seem to be comedically pompus and perverted, but he is still a higher-position aristocrat of Hell and is implied to be enormously highly effective, as revealed by his turning a would-be kidnapper to stone just by obvious at him. Alan Stone falls below this. Then Black Mage kills them all with his knives in a couple seconds and summons the monster, who right away dies to Red Mage (by accident, no fewer).
