A modest network of coordinating bot accounts on Twitter can massively grow the measurement and scope of awareness a tweet receives, affect the study course of a thread, and either mitigate or multiply the effects of a media function. An April 2018 analyze by the Pew Research Center estimates that among 9 percent and fifteen per cent of all Twitter accounts are automatic.
