Oftentimes, if your home’s water source is a well or hard water, your shower head can get a lot of scale buildup. I suppose that’s a question only I can answer, and to tell you the truth, I really don’t have an answer. When you are showering, you don’t really see all the buildup on the piece because of the water coming out.
