Théodred was killed in struggle in the book, though in the film he was only seriously wounded and introduced back again to Meduseld alive just before succumbing to his wounds, possibly with help from Gríma. Dies Differently in Adaptation:- At the climax of the tale, Gollum dies even though slipping into Mount Doom with the Ring, but the e book and the movie depict the correct situations a little bit otherwise.
