The sensitivity to relatives life, in all its unvarnished glory, was the show’s most constant enjoyment, while Togetherness also received a whole lot of mileage from Lynskey’s character’s attempts to type a constitution faculty and from wonderful performances by Amanda Peet and Steve Zissis as determined singles with severe flaws.
