When Jasmine angrily confronts Jafar on returning to the palace, the latter statements that Aladdin was charged with kidnapping the princess. Jasmine is then taken back to the palace, where by she and Ali share their initial kiss, cementing their passionate romantic relationship. Jasmine reveals herself to the guards as the princess and demands that they launch Aladdin.
