In 2005, members of the mod community discovered that the Pc edition of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas could be modified to unlock an incomplete sex minigame acknowledged as "Hot Coffee", which Rockstar North experienced made a decision to leave out of the closing game. The discovery of the minigame induced California State Assemblyman Leland Yee to rebuke each Rockstar and the ESRB, arguing that the ESRB was not performing its task effectively.
