Up up until that point, the bellyachers of the environment being harmed were most likely believed to be some outsider intent on ruining deep space through surging the earth out. The only characters that terrified him were Lilo and Stitch, due to the fact that he had actually never watched them on TV. (And personally, I believe they're kind of frightening anyway)! Simply a couple of miles west of Gulf Shores, it has a more historic feel.
