Clash (initially named "Byte") is a successor to Vine designed by a group led by Vine co-founder Dom Hofmann. Gerald spurs Crowley to action towards Rowena who is captured by a backup team led by Gerald soon after the most important staff is killed by the Winchesters. Byte underwent a closed beta period of time with neighborhood associates from a Byte dedicated forum who were being invited to examination the app.
