Twitter is a microblogging and social networking company on which consumers post and interact with messages known as "tweets", owned by American corporation Twitter, Inc. Registered customers can publish, like, and retweet tweets, although unregistered users only have a limited capability to examine public tweets.

Until 2009, there was also a Uc ("Universal Children") certification, for videos that had been notably acceptable for younger youngsters.
