In the summer season of 2002, Jimmy Kimmel had been trying to get Simmons to produce for his new late-night time talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! ESPN announced on May 8, 2015, that Simmons' contract, which was due to expire in September 2015, would not be renewed. For eight yrs pursuing grad school, Simmons lived in Charlestown doing the job several employment before at some point landing a job at ESPN.
