Laura is acquitted of murder by cause of insanity, but is lonely and ostracized for the relaxation of her existence. James is sentenced to sixteen years to existence in jail, and Wendy is sentenced to 7 several years and ten months. Wendy is paroled in 2004, and James in 2014, but they are no extended alongside one another.
