A declaration of the World Congress Against the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children, held in Stockholm in 1996, defined CSEC as, "sexual abuse by the grownup and remuneration in dollars or in form to the baby or to a third individual or folks. The youngster is taken care of as a sexual item and as a professional item".
