There are components of it that the present handles quite perfectly (like the slow-developing horror of the series’ Latina regulars who aren’t Blanca, as they realize what’s likely on proper beneath their noses), and there are other aspects that are dealt with … She doesn’t even test to turn out to be an activist (outside of taking some courses that advise she’s heading to get the job done in some kind of legal area).
