Much of the fandom's ridicule from others comes from the notion of the mostly adult male fanbase having fun with a present that's marketed to the younger feminine demographic. The Fox News Channel comedy speak program Red Eye poked fun on the fandom as a result of it largely consists of young grownup males. The one program I strongly advocate for each laptop: f.lux for Mac/Win (Free/gratis) or Redshift for GNU/Linux (FLO).
