After the murder of the initial republican leading of Bavaria Kurt Eisner in February 1919 by Anton Graf von Arco auf Valley, the Bavarian Soviet Republic was proclaimed. When Communists took energy, Lenin, who experienced lived in Munich some many years prior to, despatched a congratulatory telegram, but the Soviet Republic was finished on three May 1919 by the Freikorps.
