Big Bang flew to Belfast and won the Best Worldwide Act throughout the 2011 MTV EMAs in Northern Ireland. Also in 2012, Big Bang gained the Best Fan group in the Italian TRL Awards. According to Mark Harris of Entertainment Weekly, if passing the test had been necessary, it would have jeopardized 50 % of the 2009 Academy Award for Best Picture nominees.
