The movie was shot on locale in New Mexico. Parker edited the movie for the duration of principal images, but was not on area. one Principal photography concluded in November 2012, soon after forty two days of filming. Production moved to Chilili, New Mexico for two months of filming. In the movie, the 4-gentleman SEAL reconnaissance group is found out by three goat herders-an aged gentleman and two teenage boys.
