An aimless plot that feels like a derailed slam poem chafes versus a sequence of ever more tedious storylines and a concerning-seasons recasting that never cannot be seen. Having mentioned that, I really don't know what it feels like to do either of those matters. If that is not a mark of legitimate excellent, I really don't know what is.
