In 2016, in a bid to improve stability, the Singapore Police Force set up 62,000 law enforcement cameras in 10,000 Housing and Development Board (HDB) blocks covering the lifts and multi-storey car parks. With soaring stability problems, the amount of CCTV cameras in public areas these as checking of the public transport system and professional/ federal government properties in Singapore is established to increase.
