A 20-12 months-old St Helens man was prosecuted on 10 February 2009 for owning "extraordinary" images involving gals and animals. The legislation arrived into pressure on 26 January 2009. In July 2009, Baroness O'Cathain proposed an amendment to the Coroners and Justice Act which would deliver in an equal legislation for "intense pornographic writings".
