The Jimi Hendrix Experience released two effective albums throughout 1967, Are You Experienced and Axis: Bold as Love, that innovate each guitar, trio and recording methods. Spooky Tooth introduced their next album Spooky Two in March 1969. The album was an important difficult rock milestone. Gram Parsons with The Byrds introduced the influential LP Sweetheart of the Rodeo in late 1968, forming the foundation for region rock.
