There has been widespread misunderstanding of a 2005 study that discovered that one in 7 youths experienced gained an unwelcome online sexual solicitation but the authors of that analyze - the Crimes Against Children Research Center - posted a fact sheet that explains that these solicitations are generally not from predators and most of the recipients of the solicitations did not check out them as critical.
